ARAN Fishing

8 boats total went out on Saturday for a good day of fishing. They all caught at least 1 sailfish, one boat caught even 3 total. 7 Dorados were caught, 1 Marlin and 22 Tuna fish, one boat didn’t catch anything. Some fished from the crater and from the corner, the blue water was 22 miles out. Since rainy season has started we usually have morning through out the day sunshine with some clouds then afternoon gets dark with showers.

The sailfish bite has been about 25 miles out the past few weeks.  We have not been having to run as far as we were the begining of the month.  There have been some schools of tuna found about 50 miles offshore in Jaco Costa Rica.  The water has been very clear and most boats are averaging about 6-8 sails per day.  The Marlin are also still around.  Captin Bill had 3 striped marlin yesterday.  Fishing Costa Rica has never been better, book your charter today here.
